Somewhere around the early 70s, Raitt began nurturing a career that today can be described as super successful. Her full length eponymous maiden album was released in 1971. Her fame was further solidified when she dropped her tenth studio album named “Nick of Time”. This project was the first in Raitt’s career to top the Billboard 200 chart.
