“Denied in UK” by Lil Durk

“Denied in UK” is primarily centered on the rapper admiring his significant other for characteristics which she possesses. The title of the track is based on Lil Durk alleging in the first verse that he was “lock up in immigration” upon attempting to visit London. But more to the point is the reason he was going there in the first place, which was to make money for himself and his sweetheart. And with that in mind, even though all of the track’s lyrics are not about romance, the best way to classify “Denied in UK” would still be as a love song.
