His Stage Name

His stage name was inspired by a childhood experience where he was forced to wear a rabbit costume to school and was photographed with an angry face. He was teased by his friends and they called him “Conejo Malo” which means “Bad Bunny” in English.

Bad Bunny’s Romantic Relationships

He has been romantically involved with Gabriela Berlingeri, a model and a jewelry designer from San Juan. The pair first met at a restaurant in Puerto Rico in 2017. They liked each other from the moment they met, and they began dating soon after. However, Bad Bunny kept the relationship private and a secret from his fans and public until 2020, when he publicly acknowledged their relationship in an interview he granted.

He stated that he loves and trusts Gabriela very much and that she has helped him solve many emotional issues he had, and is very happy with her. Gabriela provided scratch vocals for Jennifer Lopez when she was featured on Bunny’s 2018 hit song, “Te Guste”.
