“Let Me Love You Like A Woman” by Lana Del Rey

In “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”, Lana Del Rey tells her significant other to allow her to love him like a woman. This is possibly because women are known to genuinely love deeply and stay loyal through the years.

As she expresses in the initial verse of the song, the writer is about to leave her small hometown; thus, she requests that her partner comes along with her. As far as she is concerned, it doesn’t matter where she moves to; so long as they are together, she will be fine.

In the chorus, the singer asks her partner to let her treat him with a lot of tender care, just like she would treat a baby. She also asks him to let her shine and be the best version of herself. Lana goes further to express her wish that her man will treat her as the precious gem she is and not make her bitter. The singer, in the bridge, talks about how they will enjoy their time together, conversing and probably even getting high on some drugs. The ultimate for her is that their love will last infinitely.

This track was written by Lana Del Rey and producer Jack Antonoff, and released on October 16, 2020.

It is officially the first single from Lana’s seventh studio album titled Chemtrails Over the Country Club.

In an interview with Q Magazine prior to the release of the track, Lana said that she felt there’s something really important and special about this particular song.
