Matchbox Twenty is a US collective that was started in 1995 in Florida. As of this writing, the group’s lineup has the following musicians:

This Florida-founded group achieved mainstream success through “Yourself or Someone Like You”, their 1996 debut album. The record spawned several hit singles such as “Real World” and “Push”.

Their second project, “Mad Season”, enjoyed more success than their debut record. This album was released in 2000, and peaked in the US at No.3 and the UK at No.31. “North”, the collective’s fourth album became their first project to top US’ official album chart. It also ranked at No.14 in the UK.
