“That’s When” by Taylor Swift (ft. Keith Urban)

Most simply put, the title of this song (“That’s When”) is meant to allude to the male’s vocalist dedication to the featured romance. And as the narrative reads said female, Taylor Swift, came to the conclusion that she “need(ed) some space”. Or, more bluntly explained, she decided to breakup with Keith. The male, being the understanding type, apparently let her go with little to no protest.

But eventually, Taylor came to regret her decision and asked Keith to take her back. And this proved to be an emotional affair, not only because making such an apology isn’t easy but also due to the notion that, by the looks of things, Urban accepted her back with no hesitation.

So whereas “That’s When” starts off as a breakup track, by the time all is said and done it rather transforms into a love song. And to note, it is rare that we come across a song where a couple breaks up, gets back together and thereafter appears to be on their way to living happily ever after.
